Created for an online news parody, Kinetic Screen was tasked with creating a full visual and musical brand package for fictional news channel GB24. The brief was to create a package that felt both familiar and distinct, to avoid the generic news look that parodies usually adopt. It also shouldn’t feel too new, as if it had been on-air for a long time without a brand refresh.

The decision was made to incorporate elements inspired by a wide variety of international broadcasters, including CNN, BBC, Sky News, as well as elements from Australian sources such as Channel Seven and Nine nightly bulletins.

Kinetic Screen was also tasked with creating a virtual set design, delivered in a way that could maximise turnaround considering the rapidly released model that the series was undertaking.
